Attending IBC 2025 in Amsterdam

This September, we attended IBC 2025, one of the world’s leading media and production trade shows, which annually gathers top companies in audiovisual technology, broadcast production, IP workflows, and innovative media platforms. The event reinforced the industry’s position as fast-growing, technologically advanced, and focused on the future in content creation.
The exhibition showcased numerous innovations shaping the future of professional production. Sony unveiled a range of exciting new products, including the PXW-Z300 XDCAM camcorder for 4K60p recording and the updated Burano V2, designed for advanced video signal management, workflow optimization, and higher-quality real-time image processing. These developments provide a more immersive visual experience, enhanced camera control, and seamless integration into modern production workflows.
In the audio segment, Shure impressed with a suite of digital solutions for broadcast, studio, and live production professionals. Key highlights included the new DCA 901, a next-generation digital microphone array with digitally steerable lobes and integrated DSP allowing precise isolation of sound sources and ambient noise reduction, delivering exceptional audio quality for sports broadcasts, studio productions, and other professional applications, Axient Digital PSM, Shure’s first digital in-ear monitoring system, and the new ANX4 scalable wireless receiver, capable of receiving up to 16 channels within the Axient Digital ecosystem. The SLX-D digital receiver, offering flexible and robust wireless microphone solutions for both studio and field use.
Lawo showcased advanced solutions for IP workflows, virtualized DSP platforms, and tools that simplify broadcast system management and enable effective remote collaboration.
IBC 2025 – Driving the Future of Media and Technology
Held from September 12–15 at RAI Amsterdam, IBC 2025 brought together the global community of media, entertainment, and technology professionals. The event attracted 43,858 visitors from over 170 countries, who explored the latest industry trends and innovations. Over 1,300 exhibition stands showcased cutting-edge products and solutions, while more than 600 speakers participated in panels and presentations covering strategic topics, including artificial intelligence, IP and cloud workflows, sustainability, and the future of content creation and distribution. The exhibition was organized into 14 thematic halls, providing visitors with a structured and efficient experience across different sectors and technological innovations.
