The new product line provides a significant hardware update to the existing HC40 models, an upgrade made necessary by recent technological and supply chain developments. Every UCX-HC40 and DCX model will receive a one-to-one replacement with a new HC60 version, phasing out all HC40 models completely. However, the new HC60 range delivers wider product availability, long-term compatibility and improved performance. The HC60 series enhances the UCX-HC40 platform with dual USB-C ports, 5K video support, 1 Gbps Ethernet, DSC for high-quality 4K over USB-C, and unique factory-set passwords meeting modern IT and EU CRA security standards. The new HC60 series replaces the HC40 line at the same price, offering a modernized hardware platform. The HC60’s performance and features remain identical to HC40, the internal hardware has been updated with next-generation components for higher stability and network performance.
