Sony’s Architecting the Future of Media showcased in Ljubljana

At International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) 2022 in Amsterdam, Sony announced a series of new products and solutions that support its vision of Architecting the Future of Media. This ambitious new direction for Sony rests on 3 propositions that will shape the future of the content industry. Sony as the architects of this vision, will bring new technologies to life enabling Production Anywhere at Any Scale through IP for industry player, with a growing focus on sustainability. This strategy will rest on 3 pillars developed by Sony: Creators’ Cloud, Networked Live and Connected Content Acquisition.

In collaboration with AVC Group, Sony organized exclusive events for customers and partners in Ljubljana, Zagreb and Beograd, which gave an insight into Sony's vision. A team of Sony experts presented selection of their key products and solutions. We were able to attended various presentations, lectures and performance demonstrations. Among other things, we were able to test the performance of the camcorders FX3, FX6 and FX9, full-frame digital cinema camera VENICE 2, live production switcher XVS-G1, and full-frame Cinema Line PTZ camera ILME-FR7.

For the first time after three years, Sony Imaging Products and Solutions organised a roadshow in the region of South East Europe bringing close to the customers latest products and solutions development. This show confirmed once again that there is no alternative for direct face-to-face contacts with clients and that such form of activity is the right way to continue communication with professional market. Our focus in Ljubljana was to present Sony vision for the future development of media production tools and IT based infrastructure for broadcast and production market.
