The UK’s Music Studio Equipment show presents the latest and greatest studio equipment, ranging from microphones to monitors, pre-amps to synthesisers and much more. Inspired by the legendary Motown EQ with EQ curves akin to those used in the illustrious Detroit studios, the MQ-1 & MQ-2 are 7 band proportional Q equalisers with 10dB cut and boost, but with added "CRUSH" to fatten the bass, add presence to the mids, and bring a shimmer to the top end. The MQ-1 is a single slot, single channel module, while the MQ-2 is a stereo module, with an added one knob compressor to easily tame your audio.
