Tascam announced the RX-BT10MKII, the second generation of its professional stereo Bluetooth receiver designed for commercial AV installations, conference facilities, hospitality and educational environments as well as other mobile or installed sound reinforcement systems. The new model introduces the ability to customise the Bluetooth device name using the Tascam ‘Bluetooth Name Editor’ software. This makes it easier for users to identify the correct receiver in facilities with multiple installed units. Each receiver also features its own unique Bluetooth identification for simplified device management. Support for Bluetooth 5.1 (Class 1) is one of the key features of the RX‑BT10MKII. It enables stable connections over long distances of up to 100 metres. The RX-BT10’s output options include balanced XLR connectors as well as unbalanced RCA jacks. The RX-BT10MKII includes mounting points for versatile installation and a bracket kit for shelf or under-desk mounting.
